As the Amiga was somewhat ahead of its time, it didn't need filename extensions. So If you want to load anything up (and yes you can still load it all into LW 11) you will have to choose "all files" in the LightWave opendialog for the type of files or nothing will show.

Hey all!

As is obligatory on Valentine's Day (well, probably over for some now!) You must render something romantic, it's the law!

I decided to have a go at a box of chocolates, Lino also helped out with some of the chocolates, so it was a joint affair (very romantic!)

The idea being that each feature in LightWave 11 was a stylised chocolate, just a bit of fun!

The scene uses the Skin Node Shader on some of the chocolates, and Instancing for the Pralines on the 'Instancing' chocolate as well as instancing on the duplicates too.

I did a short video on the post process I did on the renders in Photoshop, nothing special, but gave an interesting look.

The scene file is also attached if you want to take a look and dissect it, would have been great to have these made up as real chocolates and give them out, but you'll have to make do with the virtual ones for now!
